Welcome To The Portal Folk-Lied-Weltmusik

Three years on line has this portal braught you the latest informations about concerts in the field folk and worldmusic tightly connected with Folker. Since the launch of this portal in March 2008 many things have changed and we hope this new version will make it easier for you to search for and find concerts, musicians or interesting venues.

This portal is kept alive by many participants - musicians, agents, concert managers and more. People who love music and want to share it with others. For all these we made the creation of concert information easiear - we hope you like it! Test it!

What To Expect In The Future?

A further web portal is well known to you: celtic-music-net.com. This portal is in review state too and all it's information will be integrated into Folk-Lied-Weltmusik. But it will still exist as an independant, celtic oriented website.

This means also, that the functions of Folk-Lied-Weltmusik will be extended. Registered musicians may add informations about their CDs, CD reviews and concert commentaries.

Information And Help

When you are searching for events, a single click on the menue Events gives you today's schedule and allows a quick search too. Informations about Musicians or Venues are easily accessable and one click more gives you the chance to list their upcoming concerts/gigs directly.

Simply try it and if you want to create concert data - you have to register first. After registration, you are allowed to add concert information. We are looking forward to your doing it!
